Well made and stable scooter board!May 26, 2009
By Danielle, Ph.D.
"Dr. Danielle"
This scooter board is exactly as pictured. My 4 y.o. son can scoot around the house and the handles are perfectly placed for helping him stabilize himself. This item was highly recommended by both his physical and occupational therapists (he has hypotonia, specifically low trunk strength) and this item helps him build those muscles and work on stabilization. The couple times he has sat on the edge of it, he slid off onto the floor before he even started moving. He laughed and then put himself back on the board, this time in the middle where he was supposed to be. I highly recommend this item as it is a great physical activity to do indoors (works better on wood/tile rather than carpet) and it is small enough to not take up a ton of room. I recommend it for kids with issues like my own son AND for those kids who just want a fun, active toy for the indoors.
Bought for workSep 21, 2009
By Amy I remembered this toy from elementary school gym class. I need something for work because I was always on my knees moving things back and forth and it was killing my knees. this product allows me to sit and still do my job! Creative thinking and re-purposing. thanks, product works great.
