Great, thick chalk overall. Just beware: some of the darker colors left stains on clothing, which didn't come out after multiple washings.

My son loves playing with this chalk. He like writing with the multi-colored ones. We make a hopscotch with it & he has fun. We also write our names and the alphabet. Its great. I as the parent love the chalk holders. Those are great!! It helps keep the chalk from breaking when my son uses it.

We got this chalk a little less than a year ago and it still is going strong. I bought it to go with my daughters Melissa and Doug easel since it came with the holders and the diameter is big for her toddler hands (shes 2). I love the holders that come with it since I cant stand the feeling of chalk. She loves the different colors within each piece. I only put out 2 peices within each holder but now that it is summer we bring the hole container outside and color together. Its perfect for either.

I bought these for a mixture of engagement pictures and for my daughter to have something to play with. Well when we walked away to take some more pictures we came back and they were stolen within 30 min!

I bought this bucket of chalks to hang on a wall next to the chalkboard wall that we had painted and it fits perfectly. The colors are also really cool, work great, and I love the chalk holders that it comes with to help keep your fingers clean.
