There are better choicesAug 03, 2010
By C. Pash I am a teacher and bought these and some others for a student with an oral fixation. These are long, clear, and sealed on the top with slightly pointy edges. I liked these originally because they were cheaper than some of the others. I also liked that they didn't stand out. They are difficult to get on a standard pencil. They DO stand out because they are far too long. The top part cut my student's inner cheek, so of course, we are no longer using them. Pay the money and get the better ones!

Just What We NeededFeb 01, 2010
By C. Smith These were purchased for use in a special education classroom and were exactly what we needed. They were provided to students who need to bite/chew and provide them with outlet. I recommend them for others who may be dealing with the same issue.

sighApr 16, 2010
By Rosalee I bought these ChewEase pencil toppers for my son who is constantly chewing on his pencils. Once you get them on (which isn't easy), they are stuck and far too difficult to remove. They are so long and draw too much attention. We cut them down a bit but after a few days at school he stopped using them.

a wonderful find!Mar 27, 2010
By Natalie Liberatore I was so pleased with the quality of these chewy pencil toppers. I work with some kids with special needs who can chew through other chewy products in less than a day, but these are strong enough for the firmest of chewers! It also saves the erasers on our pencils! Chewing can often help kids concentrate and improve their ability to focus as well as serve a sensory need for the child. Very durable and I have already reordered more for my class.

not what I wantedAug 03, 2011
By Lorzoo I was hoping this was the clear chewie that fits on the pencils that is closed at the end that goes in the mouth. Unfortunately it was not clear on the web site that this is an open ended on both ends product which does not work for my son as he fills it with spit.
