The Big Oball is such a simple concept but yet so much fun. The interlocking design of plastic forms a ball which when compressed easily succumbs to the slightest pressure. When released the ball bounces back to its form nearly instantly and without fail. The ball seems well constructed and so far I see no reason to worry it will fall apart. The plastic is rugged yet flexible.
My three kids all love this toy. I only bought one to start with but I see I know need to order at least two more so they don't fight over it night after night. It is a fun toy that has one benefit I didn't even consider. My middle child (age 4) loves it because it makes it easier for her to catch when tossed back and forth. This is an activity that frustrates her with harder balls.
Great fun, great design, great construction. A definite buy.

My son loves this ball. Even as early as six months he was drawn to it. He can pick it up with his little fingers because of the big holes and is then able to throw it. Great toy!

My 4-month old granddaughter loved this ball--she could hold it herself, and swing it around and even chew on it. My son thought it was awesome, so I sent it home with them for her, and bought two more--one to keep at Grandma and Grandpa's house and one to save for a gift. The older kids ( 1 year and up) like them, too, because they can catch this ball by themselves and throw it back to you!

I ordered the "BIG" Oball and received the original sized one in the mail... The company returned my money and let me keep the original oball.... This ball is awesome and I will be purchasing several more for my kids!!! Thank you!!

We purchased the 6" Oball by Rhino Toys when my daughter was a year old. She is now almost four and the ball has proven its longevity in both the durability department and the fun-factor department. As other reviewers have stated, the holes allow the toddler (or an older individual with manual dexterity issues) to easily grasp it. It is a soft, pliable construction so the ball does not hurt if/when it strikes the body (or the family pet), and is unlikely to break any windows when thrown indoors. Although this is marketed for the younger children I wouldn't hesitate to give it to someone a little older either (maybe middle-school age). My teenager will sometimes play with this also and throw/toss it around the house with his friends (they're quite a bit rougher than the toddler though). We got the 6" ball rather than the 4" because we wanted it to last and to not get lost in the house as easily. The big Oball was just too big for our needs as a mostly indoor toy. Thank you, Rhino Toys, for making a great product!
