Fun in a puzzleSep 24, 2007
By sadiesmommy I bought this puzzle for my 2 year old. She plays with the chunky puzzles and the ones with large knobs but they were easy for her. She had no trouble with this one. She loves dressing the ballerina in all of the different combinations. We have not had a problem with the wrapping or the pieces not fitting it. This is an excellent, well-made puzzle that my daughter loves.

Fun toy. Poor craftsmanshipSep 13, 2007
By M. Willis I bought my daughter 3 of the Melissa and Doug Mix and Match puzzles. This was the last one that I gave to her. I have to say it is her favorite and the one she plays with the most.
However when this puzzle was put together, first they did a poor job of cutting the pieces out and not all of them fit together well. We have had to do the puzzle many times over to get some of the pieces to even fit where they are supposed to, and even now they still stick. Also they shrink wrapped the puzzle before they put the pegs in the holes. So there were little pieces of shrink wrap that were stuck to the pieces because they had been glued in there.

My 3 Year Old Loves ThisSep 28, 2010

My three year old daughter first discovered this puzzle at our library. She fell in love with it and looked for it every time we went. The pieces are the perfect size for her to manipulate. It's very well made. We moved, so I decided to look for it for our home. She's spent hours playing with it at the library--and now even more time playing with it at home.
I'm rarely disappointed by Melissa & Doug items.
My daughter could manipulate the puzzle from about 2 years old--in case you're wondering if it's suitable for your child. We usually store the pieces right in the puzzle; however, for puzzles with more pieces, we put them in a ziplock baggie which we tape to the back of the puzzle.
Cute and high-quality, but not that entertainingDec 09, 2011
By K. Ward Melissa & Doug make wonderful, durable products. My daughter pulls this out once in a great while, but is "over it" within minutes. Very cute, and it will last FOREVER. It doesn't get enough use at my house, though, and will be yard sale fodder in no time.
