I recommend the Gumby 50th Anniversary Edition if you're nostalgic. Great toy for kids, no batteries needed and doesn't make any sounds!Sep 16, 2011 By Hoppaguy I grew up with Gumby as one of my favorite toys so I might be biased but I have gotten all my nephews and nieces a Gumby when they turn 3. The kids love playing with the flexible Gumby but the parents love it because Gumby does not need batteries and does not make any annoying sounds. If you are parents you know the saying, "you give my kid a toy that makes noise and I'll return the favor!" Not only is Gumby fun to play with in the house but he's totally portable and can be taken in the car or on any trip. This Gumby in particular seems just like the original in that he feels of good quality. Overall, I think this toy is great and I also think they should bring back the clamation TV show!
