Love this Crayons!Dec 08, 2010
By Valoompaoompa My 3y/o is a complete artist. She colors and colors and colors some more. I've usually buy the regular crayons, but last week when I went to pick my girl up from Pre-K she was using these color rocks and was using the correct grip for holding a pen/pencil. At that moment I was sold. Her teacher told me that she loves them and the kids do too. I'm getting the 64 piece set so that they can last all year

Fabulous for small hands, not so fabulous for big onesApr 16, 2012

How well these crayons work for your child will depend on her age and size. Tiny hands will find that they fit quite nicely, living up to their ergonomic expectations. Bigger hands will be frustrated and feel cramped. So note to Crayon Rocks -- make a bigger size for your bigger customers! Especially those of us who are vegan and eco-conscious, and so looking for a good alternative to beeswax or paraffin crayons.
Otherwise: Colors are good but a little dull and unvaried, though its true that the "dusty/waxy" appearance is superficial and doesn't affect the color of the crayon. Blending is pretty good, better than beeswax but not as good as oil pastels. The bulk cardboard box came in handy for projects.

A Great present!Feb 16, 2010
By Judith C. Frey My grandson is only 18 months and just starting to do some "art". He absolutely loves these. They are just the right size for his hand, and he is fascinated with making marks all over. Thanks for a great product.
Crayons that are pretty and LAST!Apr 24, 2012

I bought these crayons for my daughter when she turned three and she is turning six and still has them. They have great durability and lovely colors. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. However, I would say not the greatest choice for little ones that still put things in their mouths.
I can't recommend these crayons enoughSep 17, 2011
By B. Ash They are made in America, eco-friendly (soy based rather than petroleum) and best of all virtually unbreakable (they probably can be snapped, but it would take considerable hand/finger strength to do so).
Unlike other 'unbreakable' crayons we've tried, they color beautifully. They also help teach a good pincer grasp.
I've yet to find a single flaw with this product. Totally worth the price.
