I bought this as an accompaniment to the Montessori sandpaper letters, and it doesn't dovetail. I am using it as a way to talk kids through the formation of cursive letters, however, so it's not a complete bust.

My 11 year old is finishing up with this book and it has taught her well. She understands what to do, and its not just a matter of practice.

We bought this when our 6 year old showed an interest in cursive. She enjoys flipping through and finding a letter to practice.
I like the order in which the author presents the letters as well as the fact that she specifically mentions that each person will develop their own style.

This is a good book, however no better than those found at school stores. Not sure what I was expecting, however - my little lefthander is using it.

I do recommend this program. It's simple, straight forward, and makes handwriting easy to learn.
