She was thrilled to see that she can easily dress herself without the help of mom or dad. "Lauren" We ordered this for our 2 and 3-year-old nieces and by all accounts it was a huge hit. They are just starting to get into playing dress-up and this trunk gave a l ot of options. My sister says that the girls even slept in their outfits the first night! She likes that the costumes velcro so that the girls can dress themselves (or help each other). My only complaint (not about the toy) is that 3rd party sellers do not let you add a gift message and there was no receipt that had my name on it. Denniston I purchased this for the three year old I take care of. She loves to dress up and loves the Disney Princesses and was thrilled when she opened this gift. I on the other hand was not thrilled, the quality of the clothing is terrible. This child is very gentle with these clothes yet all of the skirts are falling apart at the seams, she has only had the Cinderella top on once and that also has a rip at one of the front seams. It is not that the costumes are too small for her, she is a tiny three year old. Yes I can mend them (and I have) but after less than one month of use I would expect the outfits to be in better condition, I expected them to be in better condition when we opened them.
