Great Shoes, but a little slippery - wide feet can fitAug 01, 2008
By Denali I just ordered these shoes for my soon to be 3 year old daughter. She has the princess dresses but not the shoes. She has wide feet and a high instep. She is able to wear 3 out of the 4 pairs of shoes - the Ariel shoes don't accommodate her high instep (they are more of a chunky sandal style) so we will be passing them along to a friend.
The only negative on these shoes is that they are not recommended for wearing on slippery, hard surfaces (such as tile). It's better for carpet or non-slip surfaces. Although the shoes have what look like non-slip additions to the heels and soles, they are not as "grippy" as I think they should be. They are hard instead of a soft rubber-like material. So I just make sure my daughter understands not to walk in them on our tile/hardwood floors. She's already slipped and fallen, but all is well. :)
Overall, I like the product and she enjoys wearing the shoes. Just keep them on carpet.

Princess Dress up shoesJul 18, 2008
By Brooke's Mom My daughter received these this past Christmas, she turned 3 in April of this year. She really gets into dress up more so now than she did when she first received them. They are hard plastic and cute. The storage box is made of cardboard and has held up fine. She is not particularly rough on toys and she likes organization. She plays with them often. Overall, a cute, inexpensive dress up gift. I would emphasize to your child as I did with her to NEVER wear them on the steps. They do have a heel and are hard plastic. They are somewhat big on her now, she is between a size 7-8, to give you an idea of what size they are. She doesn't mind them being too big one bit.

By kuh Only buy these slippers if you don't like your children. I personally guarantee that they WILL slip and fall. If you're lucky, they'll only fall on carpet and probably won't hurt themselves. If you're like my children, they'll wear them on stairs, hardwood floors and around furniture that is sure to require trips to the ER. I can't believe they still sell these. They're a lawsuit waiting to happen.

By daycare mom My daughter's daycare children are enjoying the shoes. We have them put them away when finished with them since our last pairs were chewed by the toddlers! These appear to be better quality and look comfortable. I'd recommend this product.

By Judith L Hicks My granddaughter loves to wear her Mom's or my high heels. So I got these for her birthday. She loves them and wears them constantly. she is having so much fun with them. They seem to be well made and sturdy. I would recommend them to anyone who has a little girl who loves to dress up.
