She can put most of the pieces on by herself with the velcro tabs. A lot of the other dress up trunks out there have reviews stating the clothes are too small. . . not so for this one! Dugger "Kyr" The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was that all the dresses and clothing are made of a mesh material, which means that everything is see-through. It will be necessary for my child to wear a leotard under the dresses when she plays. This was pretty disappointing. The material does rip very easily. After a horrible move i was forced to wash everything or throw it away from mildew and mold. The clothes did survive a heavy washing. There was a little pulling on some of the dresses from velcro getting attached to it. I do like how the dresses are designed without a set size. They are made of elastic bands and Velcro so that even if your child has a bigger build they can still play with the dresses. Boehm "avid reader" I was really disappointed with this product. I had it shipped directly to my grand-daughter's home for her third birthday. Had I seen it first, I never would have given it to her. The trunk is flimsy cardboard, much like an insert for shirts folded in plastic bags. Certainly not strong enough to withstand three year old playtimes! The outfits were all similar, very little variety, but not too badly made. The jewelry was another story. Did not even last the afternoon. I wish I had gotten the Cinderella or Snow White dresses. Even though they did not offer variety, they were well made.
