Kids loved the game, reminded us of the time when we were that age and played this game. It requires a delicate balance, perhaps a tad too much, but that's because of the plastic spoons. Slightest shake causes the eggs to drop, but then that's the challenge. Kids had more fun dropping the eggs than trying to complete the race! Even the older (12-15 yrs) ones had a blast with them! I actually had a hard time getting them to move on to the next game! My toddler loves just flinging the eggs to watch them break - I can't put them together fast enough. At 2.5 she's too young for it, unless you like picking up toy parts from all over the room. However what I like about it is when her older cousins are around, it is easy to engage her and them in the race and still make it competitive and fun by handicapping the older players (for example toddler walks with it, 5 year old hops, 10 yr old hops backwards on one foot etc).
