1disappointing gameJul 14, 2010
This game has a good concept but is made very cheap and the pieces are so flimsey, I know they will be lost or ripped in no time. I should have returned it but I waited to give it to my grand daughters. The pieces curl up and I find myself supervising the pieces and worrying that they are going to get lost, rather than enjoying it. Not for me...I want to laugh and have fun with my girls, not feel like a policeman ! Also because the pieces are so flimsy, it is hard to teach them to take care of their game and to clean up and put the pieces back in the box correctly.

4Fancy Nancy GameMay 18, 2010
My daughter enjoyed this primarily because it was Fancy Nancy! It's alright and they had fun playing it but I think it is not quite durable. She does alright with it because she is 7 and doesn't play it with many smaller children but if you are going to allow smaller children to play, I'd watch the pieces. We do like it though and I'd probably buy it again.

4Great easy dressup gameJan 17, 2010
My daughter got this for Christmas. She is very much a girly girl and this game is perfect for her. She is 2 1/2 and this game is easy for her to understand and play. We are working on the turn taking part. This game will be good to help her learn and understand baout taking turns. I havent had a problem witht he colorforms not sticking yet but we have only played a handful of times. I think if you just wipe the figures they should stick again. if not wiping the accessories should take care of the problem.

3Cute, but not much to itDec 25, 2009
I bought this game for my 2-1/2 year old. Her older sister is big time into Fancy Nancy, and therefore, so is she. The value and interest of the game is commensurate with the price. It is way too simplistic for my older daughter (she is 6) but she had fun playing it anyway just because it is cute (however, we've only played it ONCE, so I don't know if this is something she'd enjoy over & over).

It is easy enough for my 2-1/2 year old; even though she doesn't quite understand the concept of the game itself (this seems to be a developmental milestone that is magically reached at 3 years), she still likes playing it just to stick the little colorform accessories on the Fancy Nancy. Being that I've only played it once, I can't comment on how well the colorforms continue to retain their stickiness, but I can definitely see how the game would lose its appeal if they didn't stick anymore (I guess you could lay the Fancy Nancy down horizontally and put the pieces on that way once they lose their stick).

All in all, if the game were more expensive, I probably wouldn't recommend it, but being that it is only $10, it's a reasonable value & cute for the price (PS - I didn't buy it from Amazon, and wish I had - their price is better by about 30% than what I paid).

5THUMBS UP FOR ... FANCY NANCY DRESSES UP!Oct 10, 2009
I bought this for my Granddaughter's 3rd birthday and after hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of toys... she loved this gift the most!

I much prefer Fancy Nancy to Barbie... a better role model to emulate.

After months of play the clothes are still sticking but of course, not as well. However, it is still worth it!!!
