3tip on renewing the stickinesssNov 05, 2010
By J. Morgan "treasure books"
I loved these when my kids were small and I am glad they are available. This specific toy has pros and cons. It has a nice carrying case that is easy to tuck into a bag.
We took it to a restaurant to keep a 4-year-old busy before the food came. He LOVED it and went to work right away making pictures. And then he was done. Not enough pieces to make two story boards (included). TIP: I read many reviews stating that the colorforms stopped sticking and I know how to fix that (from back in the 70's when my kids were small). They attract dust, then won't stick. To wipe them off I used a very weak dish soap solution. I wrung out 2 towels in the soapy water, laid out all the pieces on one, covered with second towel, rolled up and gave it a little motion back and forth. OR, don't roll them up, just wipe them back and forth. Wipe the boards you are using them on also.
This toy did not suit my purpose, but I still love colorforms and plan to get a better set.

Diego colorforms were ordered for my grandson. They are cute but don't stick which is sort of the purpose of the colorforms. Quite disappointing.

This is a good toy for trips in the car. Doesn't take up much space.
