I really like how the work book teaches the cursive letters in order by the type of stroke, not the letter. It was so much easier for my son to learn this way.

A Kids Review!Jun 17, 2011
This an VERY awesome book.I relly like how the cursive AND the printing are not so called "FANCY/PERFECT",and with the cursive theres no slant(which is fancy also).I have used this program grade K to the first half of the 4th grade book. But its lots of money on amazon so buy it at the HWT website. But if you do oder it from here buy this verson(the newer verson)insted of the older verson(this verson is soOoOoOo much better, its not THAT bad).THIS SHALL BE A BESTSELLER(that goes with the other grades.
Fun way for learning cursive handwritingJun 09, 2011
By Ash My eight year old daughter has enjoyed learning cursive writing with Handwriting Without Tears. She has a very carefree attitude and the simple technique given with this book kept her focused! Handwriting was considered a tedious chore and now it is something she looks forward to everyday. This books provides a great transition from manuscript to cursive. The letters are easy to form and the slant writing is not enforced. We have really appreciated the fundamentals of this product.

My child likes this programSep 07, 2008

Though I find the title of this book annoying (Tears? Who'd be in tears over handwriting! If you are, something else is going on!), my child enjoys this program. Apparently, she wasn't taught to trace her letters while in second grade. She was shown the letter, but had to form it on her own. She usually finishes a few lessons at a time in Handwriting Without Tears. Her handwriting is better, too. Now, just make an edition of PHYSICS Without Tears and I won't be so annoyed.
