I like the techniques the author uses for learning how to print.Jan 28, 2011

I like all the techniques the author uses for teaching young children how to print. I do not like how she teaches children how to build stick people. For very young children, drawing stick people should be a child-directed activity and not a teacher-directed activity. When drawing becomes production-oriented and teacher-directed, it takes all the joy out of the process and it smothers a child's creativity.
