Good value for the moneyJan 31, 2011

I used to make these when I was a kid so I was glad to be able to get one from Amazon. The top is a bit light so it is hard to do tricks like spin in the air and have it land in the palm of my hand. The string feels too silky so I will need to get some better string at the Home Depot. Overall, it is a fun toy. It allows me to share some quality moments with my son teaching him how to use it. It brings back great memories.

Wanted a collectors item from childhood. Seems to be the same toy from years ago. Saving it for the day technilogy crashes.
Great fun for young and old!Jun 03, 2012
My husband got this for his dad, because this used to be what they played with back in the " day"! Needless to say, it brought back memories and lots of fun for both! Our little ones love to watch them compete with each other and stop the top! Very durable and nice packaging.

I guess I was expecting something elseNov 16, 2010

This is a very durable top but I had never used a string top before so I knew it was going to take some time to get used to it. I was hoping my almost 4 year old son could use this but there is no way that is going to happen. I bought it because he really liked this top we saw at Chicago's childrens museum but that one had a seperate handle you could hold and was much easier to use. This top will probably never get used unfortunately.
