Fun gameJul 29, 2010 This is a great game and I enjoy the laughter when the grandkids play it. One thing I didn't like was if a child didn't catch it and it hit them it is very hard and it hurt. It needs more padding.
Broken and DisappointedMay 25, 2010 The concept of the Hot Potato Game is so much fun. The toy worked for the first half hour of play, however, the sound was always too low right out of the box. The toy was not misused as mostly adults were playing. It was great fun from the standpoint that it was soft and easy to pass, but it quickly became useless when the sound failed. It was thrown away after the first use. Huge disappointment.
Creativity + Fun = Bonding and LaughterMay 05, 2010 It's a fun way to spend time with family and/or friends. Even though this toy is not an "educational toy" so to speak in my opinion, however, as a counselor, I have used it so that whoever the Hot Potato lands on has to answer a question such as "When was a time that you were scared" or "Share a time when...." etc. I think that answering a math question or history question, etc that someone else makes up would be fun too!!
Hot Potato Was A Hit with the GrandkidsApr 21, 2010 Hot Potato was a gift to my grandkids ages 10 and 5 years. They immediately got the potato chips punched out and started playing and giggled all the time. This is a great, simple, toy for all ages.
Great for the 5 minutes it worked!!Feb 25, 2010 My boys are 11 years old. They loved this toy. As you can imagine, throwing this around, it hits the floor quite a bit. Well after about 5-10 minutes, it hit the ground another time and never worked again. Very disappointed. You would think they would make this a little more durable.
