This is yet another excellent toy from Safari ltd. There are 12 mini figures in all, each durable and detailed. The boats do NOT float, but they're great bath toys.
Each boat's name is on the bottom of the boats. That gives it 5 stars for educational value.
I'm 13 and I still love toys!!!!!!

I thought these floated. I gave them to my granddaughter to put in her pool and they just sunk straight to the bottom! We still got to name them all and had fun with that, I just thought they would float, like, boats!!

Several of these boats have hard plastic masts, which could easily pierce skin. They're attractive toys however, and interesting. I would say 4 yrs. minimum.

My 12 year old grandson loves them, they don't float but he wanted them anyway. He carries them everywhere he goes. He plays with them in the bathtub & pool. It surprised me.
