Very poor quality!Jun 08, 2009
By M. MURPHY Ever since I got it out of the box, it looked flimsy. I did like the size (big, BIG) and colors, such that my toddler could easily see it. Well, it lasted only very few uses. In less than a month it just didn't work. Don't waste your money.

Good idea but bad productAug 09, 2009
By L. Hodgdon Timers for kids are a good idea. This one broke in the first 5 minutes. Bad product.

flimsy timerJul 12, 2009

This timer is good in the fact that it keeps time, bright colors, and loud ring. I will be using this in a middle school class during activities so it will get their attention (bell). Nice large size for a wall or desktop.
Flimsy, afraid what would happen if I accidentally drop it on the floor. The only reason it probably hasn't broke is because I haven't used it yet.

Great idea - wish it worked!Jul 25, 2009

I was REALLY excited about purchasing this product, and even though it seemed a bit pricey, it was worth it because it was the right size, right idea and I could see a lot of functional and educational uses. It looks great out of the box - however, from pretty much the time it was out of it, it didn't work. It simply falls apart, rewind function is poor and you gain no benefit from it sitting on your shelf just trying to look pretty. It's a real disappointment because if I could have the same thing, that worked and worked well, I'd even pay more for it.

Don't waste your moneyJul 03, 2010
By L. Franklin If this timer had worked it would have been excellent for teaching time and timing activities and punishments, but it didn't. It was broken the same day we took it out of the box! Sometimes the timer moves clockwise and other times counter-clockwise. Only once have I ever been able to get the buzzer to sound. Sometimes it passes 0 and just keeps going around until it stops. The Times Up actually comes up 5 minutes before the time reaches 0. We had to send it back. I am really disappointed; it seemed perfect for what we needed!
