Russell I Bought the L E D Kaleidoscope,s for my Great Grandchildren who were loaded with plenty of standard toys. Alde "BerkingKid" While this is an amusing toy, it is not really a kaleidoscope. It is, as one of the labels on the item itself says, a meteor show with preprogrammed LED shapes in limited colors repeating themselves over and over again. After having acquired all the various kinds of kaleidoscopes and teleidoscopes I could find, this was certainly different, so I am not complaining. Also, on the positive side, there is the fact that it does not have any small parts and is possibly safer for small children than the ones with pebbles or crystals. But for myself, I do like the real kaleidoscopes with mirrors, whether they are filled with colorful stones, flower petals or even multicolored candy. 3 of 4 found the following review helpful: it is just okAug 24, 2009 By Josyula Siva Subrahmanyam "siva" This is led Kaleidoscope and i still remember when i was very young my uncle presented me one with colorful stones and it is really lot of fun. For the price this a nice product and different than others I have. Children might lose interest rather quickly with any KALEIDOSCOPE, but I like it for my collection and think it has good features and is unique. The service was excellent too.
