We Love this Game!Dec 29, 2007

Santa gave this game to my 2 year old daughter this year. The illustrations of common and unusual plants and animals are beautiful. The cards are very sturdy- we returned the Dora memory game as soon as we opened it. Those cards were flimsy cardboard that you had to tear apart- cheap! She plays this game for about an hour each day. She's learned almost all of the names. We turn about 4 pair of cards over and she is learning to find the matches. She is SO proud when she does. Definitely a good game for under 5 years too. This will be one of my staple gifts for the other kids in our lives.

Enjoyable and beautiful!Aug 21, 2008

As usual, Eeboo does a wonderful job with this game. The pictures are fantastic - a work of art. The pieces are thick and durable. It's appealing and inviting. We also have the Hasbro "Original Memory Game," which has SEVENTY tiny cards with treacly, goofy cartoons on them, and I find it incredibly annoying. The Life on Earth memory game is light years better - creative, artistic, thicker pieces, just much nicer overall. Worth a few dollars more.

Better than ExpectedApr 28, 2008
By Dorothy A. Davis This is a beautiful memory game. The cards are very good quality with beautiful artwork. You will be amazed at the sturdiness of the cards and the wonderful quality! I recommend it over any others I've seen.

A beautiful memory gameJan 06, 2009
By Gwen P. My six year old daughter got this game for Christmas and LOVES it - and so do I! Sure, you can find memory games for a lot cheaper, but none as beautiful as this one. The pictures on each are cheeful, colorful and quite wonderful! What I also like about the pictures on this game vs. some others that can be bought at any toy store is that each picture is distictive. We've had games in the past in which some of the pictures were so simular to each other that you had to really check out the picture to see if it really matched the other. It was frustrating to the kids and to the parents. I would higly recommend this game to any preschool-age child on up. It was challenging even for us adults as well and a lot of fun! Not only does it sharpen the brains of the child, but for the adults as well.

I disagree with the age rating - should be 3 and up....Jan 21, 2009

This is the coolest memory game to date! We got this for Christmas from my awesome, avant garde, hip sister-in-law. And we have played and enjoyed it every day since!
My 2-year-old, who will be 3 in February, can easily master this game and whoop Mom or Dad's hiney. What I love are the illustrations. They are beautiful, and they also teach a whole new set of animals (i.e. lemurs, iguanas, fish swimming in coral, etc.)
I highly recommend. Cards are very sturdy with visually appealing and distracting (which is good in a game like this) stripes on the opposing side. I absolutely recommend. But a 2 1/2 year old - 3 year old can easily master...
