I bought it for my 6-year-old son who enjoys it greatly. Construction is solid and it fascinates both him and grown ups. Only downside is that the liquids flow fast and all the fun is over in less than a minute, whereupon the toy needs to be turned over again. I bought a couple of other similar toys at the same time whose rounds last rather longer. As a result, my boy prefers them. I keep it on my desk; during a busy day, it's relaxing to turn it over, take a small breather, just watch the bubbles flow, and then get back to work. I am a teacher and I can also see the benefit of allowing students with ADHD or autism to play with one of these as a reward or as a calming device. The colors are bright and the bubble stream probably lasts 30-60 seconds. It's mesmerizing to look at, and when it's over, all you need to do is flip it to start the process over again! Other reviewers have commented on its small size; comparing this one to the similar bubble toys I had in the past, it's pretty standard (about 5 inches or so). One last thing to note: you may not get a bubbler with the same colors as in the picture.
