3Not realisticOct 08, 2005
By Dev
My 2 year old loves to pretend that he is fixing things, so I thought that this would be ideal. While the toy has absolutely nothing wrong with it, he won't have anything to do with any of it because it doesn't look like the 'real' tools that the grown-ups use. If realism is an issue with your child, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

5Completed his Bob the Builder look!! :)Sep 15, 2005
By BILLIE WALKER
My grandson is a Bob the Builder kid!! He LOVES to fix things, mostly by banging on them. I gave him his toolbelt for his 2nd birthday, It went on him right away and with his hardhat on, he did look like Bob!! With his tools, he is no longer banging on things to fix, he is patiently using the plyers to try to twist bolts, he used the screw driver in an appropriate way and of course, the hammer does come into play. This is a very nice toy and I am happy I purchased it for the little handyman!!

4He's enjoying his tool beltAug 16, 2005
By Alice Winters "Grandma"
My 2-1/2 year old grandson is really enjoying his Little Builder Tool Belt. Actually, he won't wear the belt, but loves "fixing" everything. My only concern was that the screwdriver has two heads and they are small and rather tempting to his little brother.

4Sister-in-law Approved!Jan 08, 2005
By Lina "aunty aloha"
Gifts for a first birthday can be tricky. Something thoughtful as well as memorable was what I wanted. Just like 'da da' was what I thought when I saw this Tool Belt. I hear it was a hit with everyone including my sister-in-law and grandma. He had too many stuffed animals and toys already so this was just right.

1Huge amounts of LEADDec 07, 2011
By Anthony Barulic
Check out this toy at healthystuff.org (search for Little Builder Tool Belt). The "utility belt" in this set has an enormous amount of lead in it, plus some arsenic for good measure.
