I purchased this for my 14 month old boy who loves to help us sweep. For a dustpan, hand sweeper and child size broom the price cannot be beat. My son had gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this set in the week that we had it.
My husband stepped on the handle of the broom and crushed it. It appears that under the blue vinyl-like covering the handle is aluminum. The space where it was crushed had sharp points and was completely unrepairable. We're considering buying a different child's broom. We definately won't be buying this one again.

My Grandkids love to help around the house. These tools allow them to contribute to house hold responsibilities while having fun at the same time. Good product!

I bought this set for my 15 month old son because everytime i would use my broom he would try and take it from me. This is a cute set and its light enough for little ones. The broom itself is a little long for my son to actually hold correctly(and he is a tall toddler) but he enjoys carrying it around. he plays with the dust broom also and is very proud that he can now help me clean up.

This would have been great if it hadn't arrived with a bent handle. I didn't send it back right away and my kids kept going with the bending until the handle snapped in half. Also, my fairy-tale idea of kids instinctually knowing how to sweep once they're given the right-sized broom was proved to be totally false. That being said though, if I had sent it back and had taken the time to teach them to sweep, I really think it would have been good. As it is, I think I'll wait till my kids are older and see if we can't just screw in some other handle to the broom head. The hand broom and dust pan are great and my five-year-old can actually clean up messes with it, so, it was actually worth it just for that! I'm still going to try to fix the broom though....

We just purchased this broom set for my daughter for her third birthday. She wanted her own broom to help around the house. This was perfect. It seems to be just right for her 3 ft. size and light enough for her to use properly. Lucky for me, she is enjoying sweeping everything!
