Marsh "Mom to 2yr old Katie" This climber isn't the one I initially wanted to buy, but after visiting three different Toys R Us Stores and not finding the one I wanted, I "settled" for this one, and I am so glad I did. The assembly really isn't so bad if you do like the instructions suggest and use liquid dish soap. I probably used about half a bottle of Dawn, but it made the pieces slip right together. My husband was at work so I did it all myself, and in total it took me no more than 20 minutes. Our two year old loves it. The tunnel and different sized slides make for different challenges. Plus this climber has a variety of ways to assemble it, so you can change the arrangement of the slides and tunnel. I run a daycare center with children ages 2 - 5 and they all love it. It even keeps the school aged kids entertained. Novack This is a great climber/slide for a small yard. It was on sale which was great. Putting it together was a nightmare. Side B broke twice, thank goodness Toysrus let us exchange both times. You need a lot of soap and strength. But once its together its very sturdy. Seeing how happy it made my 2yr old made it worth the hassle. She has no trouble getting up the side or the tube by herself. We actually have to drag her from it when its time to go in. I just got done assembling it and I have to say one thing. I read the reviews about how hard or easy it was to put this thing togother and I was very nervous about putting it togother by myself. I am a 30 year old woman that assembled it on my back patio with my 12 year old daughter while my husband was at work and my little one was napping....using no tools. Done in less than 20 minutes! Simple! USE LOTS OF LIQUID DISHSOAP IN THE JOINTS! There is no possible way that anyone should have any issues with assembly. Feel confident when purchasing. Great quality. We purchased this primarily for our 2 year old as most playground equipment at the park is still a bit difficult and dangerous for him to play on independently. Both of our children love this climber/slide. With two slides (of different sizes), each child has their own slide. It is easy enough for our two year old to climb up using the platform, yet, challenging enough using the climber sides for our five year old. I don't know why so many of the parents are having trouble putting it together. My husband started about 10 minutes before dusk and had it together (using a rubber mallet and a cordless screwdriver) by the time it got dark. He had much more trouble with the mosquitos than with anything else!! I highly recommend this climber--works great with two children who are probably no more than 3 years apart in age (ie. still challenging enough for the older one, yet, easy enough for the younger one) 6 of 6 found the following review helpful: Good purchase for a first outdoor climber.Jan 07, 2006 By Ashley Bradley We got this on sale last Spring and it has been a wonderful purchase. Our son is two and loves to climb through the tunnel and go down the big slide. It has been outdoors for almost a year and doesn't look like it. It hasn't been damaged at all by the sun or weather.
