I got this for my nephew for Christmas and he plays with it all them time. The quality is good and seems like it will hold up over time. The only gripe I have it that it was very frustrating to get out of the package. I don't believe it is necessary to sew the items together, but that isn't a major complaint.

What boy doesn't like to pretend he is doing construction? This set of construction items was on my 3 year old grandson within minutes of opening the package, and it gets used several times a week now. Any time his dad does any jobs around the house my grandson puts on his construction gear and "helps" his dad. The saftey helmet lining has a very short life. My grandson broke it within 2 days of use.

Purchased this product for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. He simply loves "Bob the Builder". However, really do not feel the product is a good value. The hat lining would not stay in place and so it kept falling off his head. The tool belt on the vest was very difficult for him to get the tools into. Purchased other Melissa & Doug products and thought they were great...but this one was definitely not worth the money. Purchased another tool set and belt for him...at a lower price and much better quality.

I bought this for my nephew and he loves it. He plays with it a lot. He loves constructon stuff and he wears it when he plays and also will be wearing it for halloween. Great toys. The plastic hammer and plastic saw are pretty tough and sturdy.

My 5 year old son wore this for Halloween 2011, and it was a big hit. He loved having his own name on the nametag, the goggles, everything. However, some of the tools kept falling out of the belt. That could be make a little more secure. The vest is very realistic, though. Good buy.
