Great for toddlers!May 07, 2010
I bought these brushes even though the Melissa & Doug easal companion set came with brushes. These were bought for my niece's 3rd birthday. She loves the color of the handles and the fact they match the paint cups. They are very easy for her to grip and she enjoys painting with them. I would recommend these to anyone who is buying paint brushes for young children.

My 14-month-old is advanced in her art, so I bought these paintbrushes for her to use with her fingerpaints. They are perfectly chunky for her little fingers and she is able to handle them well!

The size allows my daughter to get a good grip and causes less drops then the smaller brushes.

These paint brushes are great for little ones hands. I dislike the
ones that have the pointy ends for under 2 thru 4 year olds. But I
was disappointed that after I paid so much on-line, I found them at Borders for only $[...]. I had never seen them prior at any retail store until after I bought them. Oh well...the grandkids love them and I love seeing them be creative and not afraid of a mess...it all cleans up!

Wow! This is a great invention! I bought these brushes for my grand daughter's second birthday. She loves them. I even received a thank you note from her with a painting she made! This is a must for little hands. It is easy to grasp and durable.
