Good quality paper. I like that it's acid free. Don't like that the sheets aren't perforated at the top though, so they have ragged notebook edges when you pull the pages out.

The paper is nice and heavy so it doesn't slide around for my toddler, and the spiral binding lets it sit flat.

As usual, I was impressed with the quality of this item. M&D products are some of our favorite things to purchase for our 18 month old. The paper in this sketch pad is high quality and thick. At 50 sheets, this should last us quite a while. It might seem expensive compared to using cheaper paper, but this is built to hold up to some abuse. Getting poked with crayons and twisted and pulled will not rip this paper, unlike a cheaper "printer" paper. For older kids, this would be very nice as a way to save drawings and sketches of theirs for years to come.
