Cheaply madeJan 05, 2011
By Lauren Monahan This is the most disappointed I've been by a toy resulting in my first review. The kit comes with black and white sticker sheets, paper scenes to apply the stickers to, and plastic "films" with textured patterns for rubbing color onto the stickers. The finished product is very cute but it certainly wasn't made to be a "lasting" toy...and thus, seems like a waste of money. The textured plastic sheets have a knob at each corner that the sticker sheets fit into so that they stay put when rubbing. However, there are only 5 scenes to be made and the plastic sheets are very flimsy. Thinner than a gladware container more like plastic packaging material that toys come encased in. One of the crayons is a "rainbow" of colors - very cool in theory - but the consistency allows it to melt even with a light touch - it is so messy it just melts onto little hands, furniture, clothes, and is so thick when rubbed onto paper that you can't see the texture. I was hoping for something that would be more lasting and durable, providing more open ended play.

This is a very good craft project for young onesFeb 03, 2010
By Just Me Great concept...color on stickers and then put stickers on paper scene. This project gave my young kids (just turned 3) a great sense of accomplishment.
Only issues: cheap crayons (we just used our own) and the plastic texture sheets are very small (we had to tape the sticker sheet to the texture sheet).

son enjoyed itMar 13, 2009
By happy mom My 5-year old son enjoyed making these pictures. He is not very good at coloring in the lines. This product worked well for him because you color the stickers first and then place them onto the pictures. He liked using the different textured plates. The rainbow crayon is rather messy but otherwise we liked this craft.
Alex Toys Little Hands, My Rub ArtDec 31, 2010
By Polytitle This little art kit is a joy to my child. All the pieces were there and there was no damage. Delivery was excellent to. My child has colored non-stop since getting it for Christmas. I will have to get another one or one just like. Great kit for a 5 year old interested in coloring and drawing. We don't have a TV so this is definitely one way to occupy time.
Just okay, you can find betterFeb 11, 2010
By Julie This toy was a lot cheaper made than I thought. The crayons they give you in the kit are difficult to get out of clothes and carpet. They pretty much melt in your kids hands. I was very disappointed with this. The rub ons are cheap plastic that only lasted 5 uses. I would not buy these again. You can find something better at your local craft store. Don't waste your money on these.
