I bought this slinky for my grandsons to play with because I had already bought two very small ones plus a game that has several slinkys in it for construction. It kept them entertained for hours, as long as you can find a place for the slinky to "walk", which we made for them.

There needs to be dimensions listed because I thought this would be much bigger in diameter than it was. Because of the small size, it would not "walk" down the stairs. I guess if you had really steep stairs, it would, but most treads are 10-11" and it just doesn't work. I remember the slinky being bigger than this. So I am returning it and going to order the plastic one that is bigger to see if it works better.

This is not the "original" slinky, it is much smaller and much shorter. Good for nothing, I am returning this item. I wonder if anyone at Amazon reads these reviews, if so, they should do something about allowing companies to falsely advertise their products.Original Metal Slinky on Blister Card

Although this says "Original Metal Slinky", this is small in diameter,
does not "walk" down stairs, or on small stair stepped items. Kids did have fun pulling on them and such for which they are not made.
If you want the real slinky that you remember as a kid, this is not it.
