They love to rub the satin and cuddle with 'puppy' when it's time for bed. it's so much lighter than a traditional 'blankie' that my 2 year old has. seems to wash well. this was actually puppy #2, so I can switch out the blankies when I wash them and no one loses their mind, esp mommy! we bought the white lamb for the other twin so we could tell the two blankies apart. I actually received these as a gift and would have never thought the babies would have latched onto them like they did. great idea! Great Lovey!Jul 21, 2010 By A. Bowman "Angel" We bought Douglas Brand Snugglers for my Toddler when she was about 6 months. At 2 1/2 she still loves it and takes it to be each night. We have 5 of the Bunny ones. We then had another baby, who is now 6 months, and we bought 3 of these. She loves how soft they are, and that she can play and explore the face, and eyes and nose. It's another love story in the making! :-) My son's security blanket...Jul 19, 2010 By JRGil "mmmcheese" This review is biased heavily due to the fact that my son has treasured his little dog-head washcloth-sized blanket since he was a couple months old. We needed a backup (or two) because the one he's got looks like it has seen the world from the back end of a hot dog cart. After nearly 2 years of abuse, the only damage is the thread that was the dog's mouth is coming out. These new ones are made slightly different (wider trim) but look to be just as resilient. My son is happy, so I'm happy. Buy Two!!Aug 19, 2009 By Mother of two "Eve's Mom" I bought these because we decided to stop swaddling our daughter and we wanted her to have a security blanket that wasn't too big and that would be comfortable to cuddle with. She loves her puppy blanket and she just snuggles up with it and off to sleep she goes! She will even play with the satin corners to help soothe herself to sleep. This was a great investment and I don't even mind having paid extra to ship overseas! I would definitely recommend this product! Makes a great 'Woobie'!Aug 19, 2009 By T. He immediately chose this one over other blankets and toys to keep with him at all times, so now we make sure to always know where his 'puppy' is. It has definitely become his attachment toy, and he sleeps with it every night. When we're out and he needs to sleep somewhere else or be comforted, we ALWAYS have his puppy with him and it always does the trick. It holds up very well after much use, and the great thing is, it's machine washable. I'm buying a second one just in case we ever lose it; or just to have when it's in the washer.
