The stamp pad is a must to have if you purchase any of the stamper kits. Hours of fun and color for everyone in creating thank you notes, stationary, name tags, book markers, the list goes on just use your imagination. The pad is large and the colors are vibrant.

The stamp pad is dry and will not come off on the stamps. Seems like you should be able to buy one of those rolling ink tubes to freshen it up so it would work.

I bought this to go along with a stamp set and my daughter loves it. Great quality as always can be expected from Melissa & Doug's products. The colors are very bright and it's lasted for almost a year of continuous use.

This stamp pad was much larger than I was expecting! It has great colors and the ink washes off and doesn't stain!

I use this to stamp my kids' hands on their "thank you" notes, as I am teaching them the now dying art of actually thanking people who give them gifts or are kind to them in small gestures. The kids love playing with them. Best of all, the color wipes off with a soft cloth wipe. I highly recommend.
