My daughter enjoyed experiencing these at her school, so I bought one for home. It broke within the second day of normal use. The ribbon detached from the cheap plastic handle, and was frayed after just an hour or two of indoor gentle use.

I would not purchase this item again. It is so tiny and cheap in quality. Totally OVER PRICED! I bought it for my niece's birthday and was completely disappointed when I received it. I did not have time to return it so I gave it to her along with the other things I had to purchase at local stores.

I bought this for my nieces 3rd birthday. She had an absolute blast running around flailing the ribbon and dancing. For the price and the smiles I got, totally worth it. I think durability depends on the kid you give it to. It is a ribbon on a stick so if you have a kid in mind who is pretty rough with things I wouldn't get this but if its for a little girl who loves to dance and feel like a princess, this is a great choice.
