Red DragonFeb 08, 2010 Bought this from the UK for our grandson in the US - great service, quick delivery and he adored the present.
my 5YO son loves itJan 27, 2010 I was disappointed at first when a wing fell off, then noticed this was not a problem. A square peg at the base of the wing fits in a square hole at the dragon's shoulder. I'm sure the manufacturer's reason was ease of production (molded in more than one part), but it turns out to be a good thing for product durability: With such a small contact point the wings are bound to come off eventually. This way they can be reattached with just a little glue. Good as new!
My five year old son loves to build castles with his wooden blocks, to imagine battles with his toy knights and dragons. (This dragon is often involved in battle with the Safari LTD Green Dragon.) It has held up to active play and bulk storage. Most importantly, my son PLAYS with it.

OK as a stand-in villainJul 06, 2008 I got this for an accessory to my kid's castle playset. It's of decent quality for the money, though I'm not sure the wings are attached well enough for rough play. If my kid (2 yrs) got the urge to pull or twist hard on the wings, I think they would break. Regardless, it makes for a nice villain and he likes to pretend it's flying over his castle, or to pose/sit a small action figure on its back.

Neat DragonJan 10, 2008 My son is REALLY into dragons right now and I ordered this one on an impulse. I was very happy with the size of it and the quality of the material used and the paint job. A very good buy.
