Helpful toyMay 10, 2010

"garden goddess"
Our grandson is 4 years old and Autistic. I purchased this for him on the recommendation of his mother. He loves it. He spends hours watching the sand movement. It has proved to be one of his favorite toys and I highly recommend it.

Don't get your heart set on a particular colorMar 07, 2011
By army103 I bought this item intending for it to be a neat little item for my desk at work. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering without reading the fine print. In the product description, it says that the seller will pick the color for you, and they mean it. So, rather than the classy, natural color scheme depicted in the main product image, I got one filled with neon green & black sand with yellow-tinted glass. I won't be taking it to work, because although the construction is surprisingly good, it looks like something that belongs near a black light surrounded by psychedelic posters, not on a professional's desk.
If the exact color of this item matters to you, be aware that you're rolling the dice by ordering from this seller.

Not ImpressiveDec 04, 2010
By allebasik This SandScapes is not the same as I remember from when I was a little girl. I know it's supposed to be mesmerizing, and the sand is supposed to flow slowly, but this is ridiculous! I can hardly get the sand to move! The size of the frame is quite small also. I do not feel that it is a good value for the price.

By Kari M. Bowers Fun to play with but gets bubbles in it easily. Very educational, the kids at school love it.
