I purchased this for him on the recommendation of his mother. He loves it. He spends hours watching the sand movement. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering without reading the fine print. In the product description, it says that the seller will pick the color for you, and they mean it. So, rather than the classy, natural color scheme depicted in the main product image, I got one filled with neon green & black sand with yellow-tinted glass. I won't be taking it to work, because although the construction is surprisingly good, it looks like something that belongs near a black light surrounded by psychedelic posters, not on a professional's desk. I know it's supposed to be mesmerizing, and the sand is supposed to flow slowly, but this is ridiculous! I can hardly get the sand to move! The size of the frame is quite small also.
