 A huge hit with my daughterJan 01, 2008

I got this for my 21 month old and it is her favorite thing right now. You can not pass her room without being dragged in for a tea party. I looked at several sets before deciding on this one and it was honestly the tin and cuteness that made me go for this set. The tin is very durable, there isn't anything that looks like it would ever go jagged or anything. The set is really cute too, the little bug faces are all smiling and adorable.
When I pulled the set out of the box I thought it was a bit small at first. The plates are about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and the saucers about 2", the bottom of the tea pot is the same size as one of the plates and about 3" high. But it actually is the perfect size for a little girl. My daughter is only 21 months, but she is a big 21 months and it really is the right size for her hands and the cups even fit into a couple of her dolls hands so they can hold a cup of tea too!

This is a darling tea set for younger kids. I bought a ceramic tea set for my daughter and was always afraid she would break it. This one is durable and light. It's easily packed away for trips to Gramma's house. A definitely a great buy for imagination play!

I bought this tea set for my daughter --but it took many emails to learn that "we advise NOT to drink tea from this set". What little girl would get this and not put it to her lips? You are better off getting an espresso set or the Green Toys tea set. They may not be as adorable, but your daughter won't be poisened by them.

Bought this for our daughter & son to both play with and it is a HIT! There is absolutely no reason on earth to own a porcelain tea set for kids, tin is the way to go! It makes great noise when stirring or dumping in pretend sugar cubes AND you don't have to worry about them breaking it and cutting themselves. Absolutely FABULOUS!!
