Shrinky Dink Problem & CorrectionJun 26, 2010
By Busy Mom I purchased these for my sons and they did not turn out. I followed directions exactly and even tried several alternative methods the box suggested and they curled up and the edges stuck together.. I even tried one at a time and they would not work. I was very disappointed but luckily my son wasn't upset.
UPDATE: I contacted company and to make a long story short, they determined my shrinky dinks didn't work because I did not pre-heat the pan in the oven. I checked my packaging and it did not specify to do so. I was very happy with the companies response and I would recommend you preheat the pan in the oven even if the package does not inlude that step in the directions.

Got this for my almost 4 year old son...he liked it but my adult sister and I (both way over 25) enjoyed doing these just like when we were kids. probably better for 8 year old. loved it and worked just the same
Not so good!Jan 11, 2012
By Jody L. Jorder I bought this for my kids and they had fun coloring them, but even though we followed shrinking directions to a T, they curled up when baking and never flattened out again, even after many more minute than recommended.
Hooray for keeping kids busy!Jan 03, 2012
By D. Black My 4.5 year old (with a fine motor delay) got these for Christmas. He has loved coloring them and is excited to shrink them. We plan on punching holes in them before shrinking so he can hang them in his windows. He's quite excited and the coloring has been great for him to work on his pencil grasp and staying in the lines.
Great fun for everyoneDec 06, 2011
By David We bought this set for my 7 year old son, and he absolutely loved it! His favorite part was watching the pieces shrink up in the oven. I loved making them with him just as much as I had enjoyed them as a kid!
