The space blanket actually tore apart as my son got comfortable and this happened within the first ten minutes of wearing it on the same day we received it. Although it came with 2 more extra blankets I see them potentially ripping aswell. They are very very thin. What a waste of money. We are better off wrapping him in a household blanket. 1 of 2 found the following review helpful: Space blanketSep 14, 2011 By Christina Used for a day but there are 2 so a day each. they are not durable more like disposable. If used as intended (to keep warm in an emergency) they are very good at that ! You start sweating in just a few min. Good for you survival kit or maybe old people put it between two blankets to keep warm in the winter : )
