Pieces are made from flexible or hard phthalate-free plastic with painted details. Reusable tube has zippered top and handle for stow-and-go fun.

Several of the figures broke the first time he played with them. Little pieces, like the flag the astronaut was holding, broke off pretty quickly. He enjoys playing with the figures, but if you are looking for a sturdy toy, you should buy something else. 1 of 1 found the following review helpful: STL momMar 04, 2012 By STL mom I actually bought these to decorate my son's space themed birthday cake. The quality is good and he still plays with all the pieces. He is 5. My 4 year old also likes them.
