lots of fun for him...skinned knuckles for meOct 07, 2008
By Electrical Mama My son loves to play with building dough and he loves Dizzy and the truck to haul the dough and the building to stick it on, but the 'Fix & Mix Factory Playset' is not well designed. Firstly the handle to extrude the dough is very short making it very hard to extrude the dough...mommy has to do it (and it takes mommy two hands). Secondly it has a high center of gravity and with the large force you have to exert to extrude the dough you have to be careful you do not knock it over. Thirdly the elevator sticks so you have to hit it (or yank it) to make it move, again mommy has to move it. Fourthly there is not a lot of dough in the containers, we mixed all of ours together and made brown and it all fits in one container.
That said, my son loves squashing 'bricks' onto the house so we take Dizzy, the dough, and the house with us every time we go out to eat and play while we wait for our food.
