This works as advertised. I don't want to knock people that don't get it, because it's not 100% goof proof....
It's not clear in the directions, but there is an "up" and "down". The "up" has an indent which the neck of the balloon goes into. If you do it upside-down the whole process gets screwed up.
The directions are very simple otherwise - I was cranking out balloons within a couple of minutes of opening the Tie-Not Package. Ultimately it takes longer to fill them than to tie them, and I've got pain-free fingers.

Before I purchased this tool, I could not tie balloons for the life of me. Even my husband, who has big, fat fingers, could tie balloons, but not me...until I bought the Tie-Not! At first I couldn't quite figure out how it works, but that's because I wasn't turning it like a HELICOPTER. Once I figured that out, piece of cake! For the first time in my life I could make a big pile of water balloons in a half hour. So exciting, and so helpful for my son's birthday party. Our friends also thought the Tie-Not was great. I'm so glad I found this!

It takes a little while to get used to the way to use the device, but it's great to not hurt your fingers tying a bunch of balloons. It worked great on water balloons, but on the bigger 9 inch balloons, it was a lot harder to use. The lip of the balloon in to big and so it doesn't stay down in the slot very well. I totally recommend this for water balloons, or smaller sized balloons.

I had a back to school water balloon party for the neighborhood kids. My husband and I started making water balloons and tying them by hand. It was SLOW going! I thought there had to be a better way, started looking, and found this tool. It was amazing! It worked perfectly! It took a few balloons to get the hang of it but once I did, it went fast. We made hundreds of water balloon in a couple of hours. Definitely recommend!

Awesome Toy. It Took Me About 10 Minutes To Figure It Out But The Rest Of The Time Was Pure Fun! I've Never Had Fun Making Water Balloons But Since Its This Quick I Recommend It To Everyone.
