Simple, cute, fun.Nov 07, 2009
As far as toy irons go, this one is great. It's cute, simple, and seems to be good quality. I gave it 5 stars, which might seem like a high rating for such a basic toy, but as far as toy irons go, I believe this deserves it. It doesn't have the various settings other pretend irons have (the ones that look "real"), but my daughter doesn't care. (if your child wants that, you should choose another model, one of the plastic ones--they have them on Amazon, too.) And this one has a cool retro appeal. Plus you can't beat the price.

This tin iron is nice, but pay attention to the dimensions. This iron is only a little over 5 inches. It's small, but very good for little hands. The quality is very nice and I bought the ironing board to match. It matches the Kidkraft red retro kitchen set perfectly!

Old Fashioned ironMar 04, 2009
I needed an iron that looked like an old fashioned flat iron for a pioneer event for children. In the stores I could only find fancy children's steam type irons for a big price. This one was perfect for my need with no cord to get in the way. The kids had a good time play ironing the pillow cases, like grandma used to do. This iron was perfect for my need and I was so glad to find it on good ole Amazon.

I thought my granddaughter would like this but never dreamed about my 4 year old grandson enjoying it too!!!
