University Games Miss Weather Dress-Up Set

SKU:

UG-72503

This product is currently out of stock
WARNING:
CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
Description:

This set is perfect for preschoolers who are just learning about the thrill of color forms. The larger pieces make it possible for young hands to peel back the pictures "all by myself." Miss Weather also teaches children about choosing clothes based on the weather outside--an activity that preschoolers don't always like to cooperate with. However, children will certainly cooperate with dressing Miss Weather in all her gear, including a red snowsuit, summer rollerblading outfit, yellow rain slicker, and pink bathing suit. Since Miss Weather is posed next to a big picture window, children can even stick on some weather color forms, including a shining sun, autumn leaves, blooming flowers, or flakes of snow. This set teaches children about dressing appropriately, but more importantly, they will feel competent and smart as they maneuver these easy-peel color forms.

5Perfect inexpensive gift!Jan 11, 2007
By Mom and Speech/Language Pathologist
I purchased the Miss Weather Dress-Up Set for my cousin's two year old daughter. At her birthday party, all the other gifts were forgotten as she sat and played with the Colorforms. The adults were waiting in line to play with them also! This set has larger pieces which are perfect for younger children. This is the perfect gift...inexpensive, fun, promotes fine motor and speech/language skills, and has educational value!

My 2 year old niece LOVED this when I got it for her, but the pieces don't stick AT ALL!! We've tried everything thinking we were doing something wrong, but nope. She still likes to play with it but it completely misses the point of colorforms...

We just opened up this toy for our granddaughter who's 3. She was so excited to play with it but the colorforms don't stick AT ALL. Very disappointing.

1Doesn't stickJan 30, 2010
By Harold Bakst "D's Daddy"
I had colorforms when I was a kid back in the 60s, and I thought it would be perfect for my three-year-old. Unfortunately, the stickers didn't stick--not at all.
My wife and I thought this was a fluke and bought a different Colorforms--Dora the Explorer--and the pieces in that box also didn't stick.
How does the maker of Colorforms--University Games Corporation--stay in business?

1pieces don't stickMay 25, 2009

I'm so disapointed in this set. The pieces, once removed from the white page, don't stick on the picture, nor do they stick back on the white sheet. My 3 yr old granddaughter enjoyed it for awhile, but soon lost interest when she couldn't get the clothing to stay on the picture.
