This product is so light-weight and portable. It is perfect to engage the core muscles and provides the kids with an active sitting posture that allows them to be more involved in their environments. I did have to air mine up a little to make it perfect for my needs. The product comes with the adapter to make airing easy. All you need to provide is a standard bicycle pump. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. This product, when used correctly, will help people of all backgrounds to have better sitting posture throughout their hips, spine, shoulders, and neck. 7 of 7 found the following review helpful: Great for students who can't sit still!!Oct 26, 2009 By Beth Lee If your child is having trouble staying seated in class, you need to get this vestibular wedge. You can adjust the firmness to their liking. When seated on this wedge, kids have the sensation that they are moving and will be able to focus better on their school work. B Kraft "lonestargazer" This is an inflatable cusion divice, which is has a pattern of bumps along one side while the other is smooth, and it is very effective in removing the pressure of prolonged sitting in an one place. Despite the fact I way almost 300 lbs, it has no problem maintaining the air pressure you include. It seems quite sturdy. There are practically no instructiosns for it, so it is easy to overinflate a bit. One can either sit on the bumpy or the smoth side of the reversable cushion, which seems easy to clean. There is no reason why one can't put it behind one's back or sit on it, whichever makes one most comfortable. I would have given it five stars had there been some meaningful suggestions about how firm to inflate it as a starting point. My experience was to inflate it fully, and then let out air until it reached a point of comfort. Since then, it's been fine. I can also do TA (abdominal) exercises while sitting, shift in my seat effortlessly, and keep my feet on the floor. It arrived rapidly, was easy to unpack, and was inflated at the perfect level for me. I am so pleased that i am purchasing another one. Wish that I had known about this sooner. Addendum: the wedge split 1/4" along a seam after less than 2 months on use in my computer chair. Amazon agreed to refund the money when I sent it back. What a hassle!
