Disappointing...and a little painful!Dec 07, 2008

"the OT for kids"
I am a father and have been working with children for 10 years as a pediatric occupational therapist. Hyper Jump was a disappointment. The speaker voice is difficult to understand at times. The pads have a hard plastic tip where it connects to the air hose...if your kids are playing in their stocking feet, be ready to hear some "ouches". After playing it for a few weeks, the middle pod is already showing signs of breaking and not registering every time you step on it. And if you are looking for games that get your children moving, this is not it...HyperDash is better for that. This game was not worth the hype. Hope this helps!

Action and Fun!Sep 18, 2008

"Smiling Cheshire"
Hyper Jump was an immediate hit with my nieces and nephews. They were fighting to try it and challenge each other. You set it at various levels of challenge - and follow the directions - if you can move fast enough! Hop, jump, tag, reverse. The players are constantly twisting, moving and turning to follow the verbal sequence of commands. The big kids can play with the little kids and everyone has fun. One of the few toys that will pull my nephew away from video games. Really helps burn up pent up energy on rainy "indoors" days. A "must have" for families.

More fun than it looks!Nov 10, 2008
By Philly Reader My 6-year old, very active son received this gift for his birthday. When we took it out of the box, we didn't know what to expect. I tried it first, and could see quickly how this toy/game could really work you out. My son and his friends tried it and were having a good time challenging each other...until one of the pods broke!! The design is so simple, but we can't seem to figure out why the green pod doesn't work anymore. We haven't even had it a month. These boys are a little rough, and I wasn't watching when it broke; but I can't see how it could've broken. We were really enjoying the game, so for the cost I might just replace it.

broken in twenty minutesNov 24, 2008
By E. Kemp We really enjoyed this game for the twenty minutes it worked. The green pod failed to register when we jumped on it. I was playing with the kids and we weren't rough. Hopefully they will be able to make the game more durable in the future.

Broke almost right away..great fun while it lastedNov 27, 2008
By JRay We had so much fun with this toy, but it broke days after we got it. THe point of the game is to hit and jump on it, so why did it break so fast. My red pod for some apparent reason doesnt work anymore. It seems that some others have had this problem too. So buyer beware...this toy was fabulous while it worked. I know someone said they would be buying another one, but I can't afford to be buying this toy (no matter how fun it was) every month.
I also didn't find any trouble shooting solutions in the instructions. Good luck!!!! I won't be buying this toy again, BUT we will be mourning the fun we could have had playing with it.
