5We love Zippety!Aug 09, 2007
By Value Hunter
We gave this activity doll to my son when he was an infant. Zippety immediately became a big hit! In the beginning, a sleeping buddy. Later, a boo-boo buddy, too. Now, the best of friends. My son is now 4, and our Zippety (we call him Woody) is threadbare but most beloved. We have washed him dozens of times although Russ does not recommend washing. The doll is loaded with learning activities, but my son was never really interested with the activity aspect of the doll. He just loves his Woody.

Update: 9/14/2010
My son is now 7 and Woody is still hanging tough. If you are waivering....don't. Buy Zippety.

3Cute Learning DollMar 11, 2009
By S. Leslie "Kevin's Mom"
I like the fact that the colors and styles make this one cute toy. The durability issue I had was the pants are barely sewn on and I accidently pop the thread holding it on and now the pants fall down. My 13 mnth old looks at the doll and periodically holds it. He's not interested in the educational aspects it offers. I expect he eventually will carry the doll around as it becomes his buddy, though. The doll does have a variety of learning features.

1cute but unusableFeb 02, 2009
By Colorado Mom "PJ"
Although this doll is cute, it cannot be of any use in teaching a toddler how to dress. The zipper os of poor quality and will only go up half way because the entire jacket is way too small. The button holes are against the doll and the buttons on top--much too awkward to use. The shoelace is made of very slippery material and will not hold a tie at all. The snap on the hat works but requires more strength than a toddler has.

5great doll for boys.Nov 29, 2008

This is a great doll for boys. We named him Luigi. Our 10 month old loves to try to figure out how everything works. He loves the big buttons.

3Well...Jan 27, 2011
By Nathan E Norman
This toy was fun for the kids, but like some other people mentioned, the execution wasn't the best. The vest is too small, so it came off immediately and never stays on because they can't manipulate the zipper.
However, overall, the kids do like this toy and it is a great option for a 'male' baby doll. And the price was reasonable, though definitely at the max I would pay for a rag doll. My kids are only 2, so it is also possible if they were older they could get more out of the entire concept. We purchased it because one of my triplets LOVES zipping and unzipping things. Unfortunately, he can't manipulate the zipper because it is too tight in the chest.
The quality of material and workmanship was decent.
